PGYTECH OneMo Tactical Backpack

You can never have enough camera bags, right?

This new backpack from PGYTECH is tough and built for the Canadian climate.

PGYTECH sent me this OneMo Tactical Backpack and I’ve taken it out on a couple of hikes and been tested it outside in the cold weather of a Canadian winter.

Main appeal of this pack

Technically this pack is wonderful. I like a backpack that I can lay flat to open, so I can see everything inside. It’s easy to find and grab things from the pack. And for me, that is the main appeal of this pack.

The other thing I really like is that there are no dangling straps. I’m rather small and as a result I’ve always got leftover straps hanging off me once everything is synched tight. This pack has many ways to tuck in the extra strap length so you don’t get caught on tree branches when scrambling around the woods.

The OneMo Tactical Backpack comes in two colours: Dark Night Camo and Coyote Brown.

This backpack sits very comfortably on me, and you can see the size. I’m about 5’4”.

I took this camera bag on a couple of photo walks before making this review.

  • It was very comfortable except for the shoulder strap that I had my PGYTECH Beetle Clip attached. So I have removed it.

  • The 25L pack is right at my size limit, and the temptation to overload it is always there. So keep that in mind.

  • The additional belt is great on it’s own, but I feel it’s necessary to have. Too bad it wasn’t included with the backpack.

  • If I was going on a big trip I’d have room for everything, but for a long hike I’d try to leave some items at home.

  • The side access pocket is perfect for when you want to keep the pack on but have quick access to your camera.

  • Overall I see myself using this backpack a lot. It’s a great addition to may collection!
